Milky white patches of skin , found in vitiligo, leucoderma or scar dyschromia,  are the result of an absence of melanocytes, the skin cells which produce melanin.  Melanin gives skin its colour.

What better  way to restore skin colour than to use a patient’s own melanocytes?  This treatment for stable vitiligo and leucoderma is called Melanocyte Transfer.

Dr Sanjeev Mulekar is a specialist dermatologist with a keen interest in vitiligo treatment and research.

Since 1995 Dr Mulekar has gone on to perfect this technique and has treated over 2000 patients to date.

Dr Mulekar has many  publications to his credit and has presented in a range of national and international conferences.   See About Dr Mulekar.

Dr Mulekar’s method uses non-cultured melanocytes and can be carried out at the point of care in an hour, depending on the size of the area to be treated.  See ( place link to The Treatment )
